Less than 6 months until I turn 50 years old. The big five-oh. Midlife crisis, here I come. I’m only half joking about the midlife crisis. But as I approach 50 I have been reflecting on life and what the future holds.
The CliffsNotes version of my life,
- Graduated high school top off my class and got a full scholarship to an elite university.
- Wasted years at college drinking and partying, barely earning a diploma.
- Lucky for me, job market was good for new grads and joined the tech industry.
- Was making good money so naturally blew it on partying and fast cars.
- 30 and life felt a bit meh, so took a sabbatical to backpack through Europe.
- Got the travel bug after Europe so started traveling and jet setting around the world.
- Developed a passion for photography. Developed an obsession with golf.

- 40 was approaching and life felt a bit meh, so I got a puppy.
- A failed business, so took a sabbatical to do #vanlife
